Amanda Kelly Homs
As the daughter of a police officer and nurse, I have been taught to serve others from a young age. As a lawyer, I am just as dedicated to that mission of serving. Whether it is helping you through some of life’s ups and downs, by drafting a will, reviewing contracts, or helping you form your own business, I would love for the opportunity to commit myself to your issue.
As a first generation college student and small business owner, I understand the difficulties that can arise in life. Money constraints can weigh heavy, with uncertainty and fear for the future hanging over your head. My objective is to help alleviate some of these concerns through a collaboration with you. That way you can protect your business, your property, your children, your future, and your livelihood. Today, people lead busy lives, and being local allows me the flexibility to meet my client’s needs more than a traditional law firm.
Prior to moving to Texas, I attended the University of Florida where I studied political science and history. I received my law degree from Barry University. While there, I broadened my legal experiences, by interning with the local prosecutor’s offices, and competing in Trial Team. Upon graduating, I passed the Florida Bar prior to our move.
After moving to Texas, I became a member of the Texas Bar. Since then, I have been committed to serving the community with my law degree, through pro bono, helping local veterans and the elderly with their estate planning, and more. I would love to bring my dedication, empathy, efficiency and effectiveness to your legal problem.
My husband and I moved to the West Lake Houston area 3 years ago. We love to hike, scuba dive, travel, do-it-yourself projects, and cheer on the Florida Gators during football season, with our rescue pup, Ranger.
*I am committed to serving those who serve our communities, therefore I will give a discount for police, first responders, active military and veterans.
